We've used ritual and ceremony to honour the transformative moments in our lives since time immemorial.

I like to say that ritual puts a pin in the map of your life that says "this matters."

Whether you're celebrating another trip around the sun, honouring the completion of your first postpartum year, grieving the loss of a beloved, entering your crone years with reverence, or committing to small daily acts of tending to your wellbeing, ritual allows us to pause and take stock of our lives, transition from one phase of life to another, and to mourn, honor and celebrate it all along the way.

Even though we humans have an almost-magnetic pull toward marking the important moments in our lives, many of us have lost – or were never taught – the skill of creating meaningful ritual.

They allow us to witness and be witnessed through our triumphs and challenges so that we might come out the other side wiser and more resilient. They allow us to be galvanized by change, not unravelled by it. Let us not underestimate the power of ritual, and the gravitational pull we have to weave it into our lives.

Next, using the method I've honed in over a decade of co-creating ritual, we'll get down to practical magic, brainstorming the meaningful details that will make your ritual supportive, effective and powerful. This part of our time together is always electric with inspiration as we breathe life into your ritual intentions.

I'll continue to provide warm guidance, witness and encouragement as you put the finishing touches on your ritual and bring it to fruition.

Optional ritual facilitation

Often, ritual space shouldn't be held by the one also hoping to receive the benefits of the ritual. I'll facilitate an intimate virtual mother blessing or sit around the fire with you and your loved ones at your croning ceremony – or support you in whatever your unique ritual entails so that you can rest into the full experience of it.

Virtual Facilitation: $175 CDN / hour

In-Person Facilitation: $175 CDN / hour + mileage, excluding any supplies

More About Me

A handful of years ago, I discovered that ritual design is my secret superpower – and one of my favourite ways to support people.

When I think about it, it makes loads of sense: it combines my soulful, poetic Cancer side with my practical, let's-do-this Capricorn nature, co-creating rituals that are rich with thoughtful details and potently transformative.

Since then, I've created dozens (and dozens) of rituals with clients, taught ritual design workshops, written the foreword on a bestselling book about ritual, written articles on ritual for some pretty cool publications, and created and facilitated a good many of my own rituals – both tiny personal ceremonies and reverent community gatherings. I've also studied ritual design with ritualist Tiu de Haan and ceremonialist Dr. Sarah Kerr.**
