Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a welcoming online space to support you as you traverse radical transformation in your life.

Whether you are changing careers, becoming a mother, navigating menopause, embarking on a healing journey, wading through grief or recovering from burnout…

…you were never meant to do this alone.

In other times and places, we would have had wise elders, midwives and guides to walk with us through life’s transformative times.

But now, many of us lack the “village” we need to support us and witness us as we navigate the kinds of life changes that change everything.

We also lack the guidance of culturally-established rites of passage and rituals, and the counsel of folks who know, in their bones, how to hold space for transformation to unfold.

As a result, these pivotal junctures in our lives leave us feeling disoriented and alone, rather than being full of the potential to become more ourselves.

That’s where Chrysalis comes in.

A chrysalis is a shelter for metamorphosis – a brave place of becoming.

And that’s exactly what this Chrysalis is, too.

Chrysalis offers you an opportunity to receive the support you need for the transformational path you’re on, including skilled mentorship and tangible, doable practices.  It is also a place to be heard and held by a circle of likehearted people on a similar journey – a place where transformative times in your life can be made softer, in some way, by being honoured with shared ritual and community support.

Here’s what happens inside Chrysalis…

The Spiral Way

The Spiral Way is a monthly gathering that explores the Four Elements and Seven Core Competencies of Radical Transformation, the evidence-based framework that I created that has supported hundreds of women through life’s most radical transitions + rites of passage.  As the heart and soul of Chrysalis, The Spiral Way will help you navigate the metamorphosis you’re experiencing with powerful insight and immediately-applicable tools and resources.

Community Circles

Our monthly Community Circles are a space to be heard and held.  In many cultures, it is true that a rite of passage or radical life transformation cannot be completed until it has been witnessed, in some way, by the initiate’s community.  We all need to be witnessed in our becoming, but transformative times in our lives can often interrupt our sense of belonging, and result in isolation.  Community Circles are not just a space to receive support + feel a little less alone; they’re also a place where you can learn and practise the art of holding space for others.  This is how we re-create the village we all so deeply crave.

Deep-Dive Workshops

Each month, we’ll take a deep dive into a specific experience of radical transformation, such as career transition, healing journeys, relationship shifts, or menopause.  These workshops will offer you practical, do-able ways to support yourself through exactly what you’re experiencing right now.

Seasonal Circles

The changing of the seasons offers us the opportunity to apprentice ourselves to what it means to traverse the changing seasons of our lives, connecting us deeply with the earth and the cyclical nature of all things.  Circles held at the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice will allow you to reflect on your own inner seasons, and to create meaningful ritual to honour the turning of the year.

Ritual Design Co-Labs

Ritual is an integral part of healthy transformation, and many of us struggle with life shift precisely because we have lost the ability to honour it.  Once a quarter, gather in circle to learn and practice powerful ritual design principles and co-create (not culturally appropriate) meaningful ritual to honour the transition you’re experiencing.  I have found after years of facilitating ritual that this playfully creative process is even more magical when it’s shared with others, so that’s what we do here.

The Details…

Who it’s for > Chrysalis is for you if you are a woman who is navigating a time of transition and transformation in her life, whether that’s an inner shift or an outer one; a change that is chosen by you or for you.  In Chrysalis, we are united by the conviction that there are some kinds of life changes that compel us to reconnect with who we really are and what matters most, and that these times, though often challenging, are filled with possibility and potential.

What it is > Chrysalis is an online gathering space.  There is a circle, workshop or other gathering in Chrysalis most weeks of the month.  Each time we are together you can expect to dive deep, spending time learning, reflecting, journaling, engaging in meaningful ritual, exploring creative and somatic practices, and finding joy in real-life conversations with likehearted humans.  Of note:  Chrysalis is an experiential, human-connection-centred space and the primary means of engagement is in the weekly gatherings – it is not another social media network that you need to scroll through or “keep up with” in any way.

When and how it happens > Every circle is 90 minutes in length, and held on Wednesdays, from 7-8:30p.m. Atlantic Time.  They are held using Zoom, and are recorded in case you can’t make it live.

“Chrysalis has become a bigger part of my life than I’d imagined it would be.  I didn’t expect real community was possible from an online forum but I guess Jessie is a bit magical!  I have found that making it to Chrysalis as much as I can has become a priority for me.   I can show up in whatever headspace I’m in that day, and feel a sense of calm and grounding.  I can be my authentic self, and feel supported and seen and less alone.  I’ve been a part of groups, online and off, and not experienced what Jessie has created in Chrysalis.  It’s truly something special.”

- Laura

I joined Chrysalis at a time when I was looking for a space that felt safe to show up with all the parts of myself and Chrysalis is a community in which I feel heard and held. I continue to enjoy learning and sharing with a circle of women from all stages of life who have the courage to be vulnerable and aren’t afraid to embrace radical transformation. Each circle I leave with ideas for tiny, doable ways to live in better alignment with and kindness towards myself, and the reminder that who I am is enough.”

January

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Earth

January 11th, 7-8:30p.m. Atlantic Time

Let’s begin at the beginning:  Earth is the first element of the Four Elements of Radical Transformation.  They say that when you’re lost in the woods, rather than crashing around looking for a way out, you should sit down on the earth and take stock of your surroundings.  During this month’s circle you will do just that, exploring what’s true for you right now.   Think of it as a fearless and searching inventory of your life, what has changed, what feels deliciously yours to claim, and what doesn’t.  Think of it as a beginning place; a setting of your inner compass as you traverse the journey you’re being called into right now.  This circle is for you if you’re beginning a new path, or if you’re feeling the need to take stock of your life and of the changes that have transpired within it so that you can step with clarity and conviction into what’s next.

Community Circle

January 18th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

Deep Dive Workshop

TOPIC:  Cultivating Resilience:  Regulating your nervous system during radical transformation

January 25th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

Traversing times of radical transformation in your life – even the transformations that are deeply desired – is usually profoundly disorienting, and almost always dysregulating to your nervous system.  Learning the language of your nervous system is a foundational step in cultivating the resilience to navigate the ups and downs of transition.  In this deep dive workshop, we’ll be joined by my dear friend Annie Bray, a somatic coach and massage therapist, to explore how your nervous system works, how to recognize dysregulation, and some doable ways to grow your capacity through the inevitable waves of change that transformation brings.

February

Ritual Design Co-Lab

February 1st, 7-8:30p.m.

Gather in circle to learn and practice powerful ritual design principles and co-create (not culturally appropriate) meaningful ritual to honour the transition you’ve been experiencing.  Maybe you want to create a sustainable self-care ritual, or perhaps you need a ritual to mark the beginning of a career transition, or want to honour the changing of the seasons.  You’ll be guided to determine the intention behind your ritual, and then engage in the creative process of designing it, all with the support of myself and the other participants.

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Tend

February 8th, 7-8:30p.m.

Tending is the first of the Seven Core Competences of Radical Transformation.  When you’re going through the kinds of life changes that change everything, deeply tending to yourself with meaningful self-care is the foundation of a journey made well.  The way we talk about tending and self-care here comes about 478 steps before what we usually think of as self-care: during this circle, you will reunite with your own most honest, heartfelt, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. You will learn to REST. By learning the skills of self-trust and self-compassion, you will begin to unlearn the conditioning that has you always putting yourself second.

Deep Dive Workshop

TOPIC:  Love in the time of Becoming:  How to navigate changes in relationships during radical transformation

February 15th, 7-8:30p.m.

Our lives are ecosystems, and when we change or want to make change in our lives, it’s inevitable that the relationships, roles and responsibilities within those ecosystems are called to metamorphose as well.  This workshop is for you if you are traversing a radical transformation and you want support with how that change is affecting your relationships – whether that’s your relationship with your intimate partner, your friends, your family, your children, or your community (or all of the above!).  You’ll explore what’s true for you now in the context of these close bonds, what might need to be released or grieved, and how you can nourish interpersonal dynamics that support your process of becoming.

Community Circle

February 22, 7-8:30p.m.

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

March

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Ritual

March 8th, 7-8:30p.m.

I like to think of ritual as a way of putting a pin in the map of your life and saying “this matters.” Ritual is both a way of honouring a rite of passage in your life and a way of committing to yourself and your intentions on a regular basis.  That’s why it’s one of the Core Competencies of Radical Transformation.  During this circle, you will learn how to design rituals to support you through the transition you’re traversing that are meaningful and supportive to you.

Seasonal Circle

The Turning of The Year:  A Spring Equinox Circle

March 15th, 7-8:30p.m.

The Spring Equinox is a time of renewal. It’s an important time to pause, metabolize and learn from the gifts of the dark season so that you can step into What’s Next for your life with tenderness, gentleness, and playful curiousity.

During this workshop you will:

> Begin to unearth what has gone dormant in you during the winter season – or in the season of life that you’re in. You’ll be invited to notice what in your life needs your loving attention right now in order to grow and thrive.

> Explore your intentions for the season ahead in a way that is authentic and meaningful, curious and playful.

> Deepen your sense of self-trust to support you as you patiently wait for the seedlings of possibility you’ve planted to germinate.

> Be supported to design a meaningful personal Spring Equinox ritual to enact on the day of the Equinox

Community Circle

March 22nd, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

April

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Water

April 12th, 7-8:30p.m.

Water is the second element of the Four Elements of Radical Transformation, and it is the element of grief, release, and letting go – because hand-in-hand with every major transformation, whether it’s chosen-by-you or chosen-for-you, comes loss.  There is a self, a way of being, or a circumstance that is no longer.  And I have learned that there is no growth without the grief:  moving forward on your path is contingent on your ability to release what no longer serves you.  During this circle, you will look with courageous eyes at the path that is behind you, tend previously untended grief, and begin the process of transmuting it into wisdom for the road ahead.  You will be held in brave space to do the watery work of washing away the bygone, and be supported to create a releasing ritual that is meaningful to you.

Deep Dive Workshop

TOPIC:  Rites of the Heart:  How to navigate healing as a rite of passage

April 19th, 7-8:30p.m.

A rite of the heart is the kind of rite of passage that isn’t always “visible” to the rest of the world.  So many of our healing journeys are these kinds of experiences – the ones where we come undone inside, and yet still have to go to the grocery store and pack school lunches.  These times of radical transformation need our acknowledgement and tending as much, if not more, than other times of change in our lives.

This workshop is for you if…

> You are on a healing journey, whether it’s healing your body, your heart, or your mind. Maybe you are recovering from burnout, or are working with a health diagnosis, or are simply exploring ways to care for yourself better. There is a place for you here.

> You are interested in what it means to traverse your healing journey as a rite of passage: you are curious about what this path, whether chosen by you or chosen for you, can teach you about who you are and what matters most to you. You are open to the possibility that this time in your life might be an intitation into a deeper way of being.

> You want tools and resources to help you navigate the changes in your life that have resulted from the healing experience you are having.

Community Circle

April 26th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

May

Ritual Design Co-Lab

May 3rd, 7-8:30p.m.

TOPIC:  Embodiment

May 10th, 7-8:30p.m.

Our bodies are often the “canaries in the coal mine” that let us know that change is happening – or is needed – in our lives.  Not only that, but so very much of our wisdom and the source of the guidance we receive during times of radical transformation comes from the feelings in our gut and the flippity flop in our chests – if only we knew how to listen, and then to trust what we hear.  That is why Embodiment is one of the Core Competencies of Radical Transformation.  In this circle you will begin to reclaim your relationship with your physical body as a wise guide for the path you’re on.  We’ll have honest conversations about all your body’s needs and its wild unruliness, diving into the complexity of our distrust + shame, rest + cycles, intimacy + tending.  You’ll come away from this circle with a newfound appreciation for the skin you’re in, and tangible tools to help you begin to learn your body’s unique language.

Deep Dive Workshop

TOPIC:  Becoming You:  Authenticity as a Rite Of Passage

May 17th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

I often say that radical transformations are different from “change” because they bring you closer to who you are and what matters most to you.  No matter whether the transformation occurring in your life is a career change, a healing journey, the transition into motherhood, loss, or a creative rite of passage, each of these experiences – even and perhaps especially the tough ones – have the exquisite potential to bring you in deeper connection with your authentic self.  And you’re not alone:  so many of us are beginning to question the ways we’ve been conforming to our overculture’s unrealistic and inhuman expectations and ideals.  There is a collective urge to peel back the layers of conditioning that may have kept us safe but have also kept us small and distracted from our true purpose and power.  During this workshop, you’ll explore who you’re becoming – and remember who you’ve always been – as you courageously unearth your authentic self.

Community Circle

May 24th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

June

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Earth Connection

NOTE DATE CHANGE:  May 31st, 7-8:30p.m.

Of course, everyone feels better when they spend time in the trees, with their feet on the ground, their hands skimming calm waters.  But The Earth has a special lesson to teach those of us in transition because the Earth lives and dies and rebirths with effortlessness.  In fact, in traditional cultures, rites of passage and other radical life transformations were always traversed in collaboration with the natural world through wilderness quests and nature-based ritual.

In our modern times, many radical transformations are catalyzed by the impacts of denying our animal nature:  the exhaustion of living out-of-cycle and out-of-connection with the natural world, muscling through the call to slow down during the winters and dark moon times of our lives.

And so it is that Earth Connection is one of the most important of the 7 Core Competencies of Radical Transformation.  During this circle, you will learn simple, powerful practices to reclaim your connection with the wisdom of the seasons and the ground beneath your feet, as well as an understanding of the reciprocity you can offer back as someone who benefits so greatly from being in deep connection with Mama Nature.  During our time together, you will come to know the Earth as your ally; another midwife for the journey you’re on.

Seasonal Circle

The Turning of The Year:  A Summer Solstice Circle

June 21st, 7-8:30p.m.

THIS CIRCLE WILL BE PRE-RECORDED AND RELEASED INTO THE CHRYSALIS MEMBERSHIP SPACE.  I will be on my own wilderness quest this month!

The Summer Solstice is a time to tend to what you are growing in your life, and honour the fullness of both the blessings and challenges you’re experiencing right now.  It is a time to find balance between ease, rest and play, and meaningful work and purpose.

During this workshop you will:

> Tend to your own thriving by exploring what is working well for you right now, and what parts of your life need “pruning” in order to channel your energy toward what matters most to you

>  Explore small, doable actions that will help you find more ease, rest and pleasure in your life

> Be supported to design a meaningful personal Summer Solstice ritual to enact on the day of the Solstice

Community Circle

June 28th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

July

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Air

July 12th, 7-8:30p.m.

There comes a time in every woman’s transformation when she throws her hands up and says “everything is up in the air.”  What you’re feeling is an oh-so-natural part of the process of transition called liminality – of “not this anymore” and “not that yet.”  Air is the third element of the Four Elements of Radical Transformation, and fuck, it’s uncomfortable.  I know.  And yet it is important to resist the temptation to bypass this part of the process for the comfort of the familiar.  During this time we tend to feel both adrift and full of possibility.  In this circle, you will learn to nurture yourself in the discomfort of the unknown through powerful, tangible practices that help you create the s-p-a-c-e you need to cultivate your inner knowing so that you can hear the clarion call of “what’s next.”

Community Circle

July 26th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

September

Ritual Design Co-Lab

September 6th, 7-8:30p.m.

TOPIC:  Inner Knowing

September 13th, 7-8:30p.m.

You know you’re in transition when you fervently check your horoscope every month, and blow the budget on tarot card readings. The unknown can be excruciating, especially for we who are steeped in a culture that prides knowing above all else (thank you Google).  But too many of us have forgotten the knowing that already exists within us, the compass that lives in our heart and between our synapses.  That’s why Inner Knowing is one of the 7 Core Competencies of Radical Transformation.  In this circle you will learn to reunite with your intuition in a pragmatic way, reclaiming a long-forgotten way of knowing.  Goodbye questioning, welcome clarity, and welcome home to the wisdom and guidance you can offer yourself.

Seasonal Circle

The Turning of The Year:  An Autumn Equinox Circle

September 20th, 7-8:30p.m.

The Autumn Equinox is a time of harvest and release.  It’s a time to look back on the seasons that have passed thus far, metabolizing what has unfolded and preparing for the coming dark season.

During this workshop you will:

> Lean on Mother Earth’s example of effortless seasonal release by exploring what you are being asked to or are ready to let go of in your life

> Gather the nourishment of the season that has passed, naming the blessings received and wisdom collected that can inform the days, weeks, and months to come

> Consider how you can support yourself through self-tending, ritual, earth connection and community during the coming time of inward-turning and reflection

> Be supported to design a meaningful personal Autumn Equinox ritual to enact on the day of the Equinox

Community Circle

September 27th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

October

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Fire

October 11th, 7-8:30p.m.

Fire, the fourth element of the Four Elements of Radical Transformation, is the part that most people want to skip to:  the playful experimentation with what is possible +  the discovery of the new growth that has been made possible by your careful tending and self-exploration.  This, my love, is the courageous exploration of What’s Next.  During this circle, you will be supported through a process of Possibility Thinking and Tiny Experiment creation to help you light the path forward.  You will also be guided to design a rite of passage ritual to help you embody the transformation you’ve made, and to explore how to integrate these radical shifts into your everyday life.

Deep Dive Workshop

TOPIC:  Rise of The Wisdom-Keepers:  The Wildhearted Woman’s Guide to Perimenopause + Menopause

October 18th, 7-8:30p.m.

Menopause is a significant rite of passage in women’s lives, and yet it is also a time when many women feel they are becoming invisible in our youth-obsessed culture.  Because of this, we know little about the experience of menopause, often dismissed as it is to a handful of medicalized “symptoms” at best, and the subject of societal ridicule at worst.  But in other places and in times long ago, the time of menopause was considered a sacred one, filled with potential and power.  In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore your experience of perimenopause and menopause as a rite of passage, discovering what deeper meaning and purpose might be unearthed for you during this powerful time in your life.

Community Circle

October 25th, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

November

The Spiral Way

TOPIC:  Creativity

November 8th, 7-8:30p.m.

We are hardwired for creation and generativity, and while you are traversing the process of radical transformation, you are literally creating yourself anew.  Too many of us have forgotten the birthright of creativity, and how to engage in it as self-care, self-connection, spiritual practice + visionary strategy.  That’s why creativity is an integral Core Competency of Radical Transformation.  During this circle, you will reconnect with this part of yourself with simple, doable creative practices that will nourish you and change your life.  Yup, I said it.  Change.  Your.  Life.

Deep Dive Workshop

TOPIC:  The Gift + The Task:  Finding your Purpose in Transformative Times

November 15th, 7-8:30p.m.

Traditionally, initiates undertook rites of passage in order to discover their deepest purpose.  Not only that, but a rite of passage was never meant to be an individualistic pursuit of personal growth but rather oriented toward community service.  That is, a rite of passage was all about ripening and maturing a person so that they could be a good elder – a leader or a healer in their community.  But our capitalist, white-supremacist culture has turned this noble endeavour into one of career advancement, monetization and optimization, not of vocation and calling.  Rites of passage have always been about discovering two things:  your gift and your task.  What gift do you have that you can offer to the world?  What, then, is your task – what will you do with this one wild and precious gift, as Mary Oliver might say.  This workshop gently beckons you into these deeper questions.  You may spend a lifetime answering them, but you can start here.

Community Circle

November 22nd, 7-8:30p.m. AT

During Community Circles, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, and then spend some time connecting with other likehearted women who are traversing a similar path.  These circles are a space to be deeply heard and held, and to apprentice yourself to the art of both receiving and offering support.

December

Ritual Design Co-Lab

December 6th, 7-8:30p.m.

TOPIC:  Community

December 13th, 7-8:30p.m.

In this overconnected world, we have never been more alone.  And yet, especially during the kinds of life changes that change everything, we need others to remind us of who we are and what matters most to us, and to witness us when our lives are transforming.  We humans thrive in community, in tending and befriending during times of uncertainty, and that’s why Community is one of the Core Competencies of Radical Transformation.  During this circle, you will begin to re-learn the lost art and skill of deep space-holding and true listening.  You will explore what it means to grow your own network of support, and you will also have an opportunity to know what it feels like to show up, take up space, and be fully heard and held.

Seasonal Circle

The Turning of The Year:  A Winter Solstice Circle

December 20th, 7-8:30p.m.

The Winter Solstice is a time of stillness and reflection. The Earth has paused; the light has paused before its return back to us: the time is right to press pause on your own life, too.

During this workshop you will:

> Reflect on + metabolize what has transpired for you in the past year

> Gently consider your intentions for the coming year, connecting to a sense of trust and resilience for the path ahead

> Be supported to design a meaningful personal Winter Solstice ritual to enact on the day of the Solstice

Thank you SO SO much for the circle, I can’t tell you just how much I got out of it and how much I’ve been thinking about it since.  It really made so many things click for me.  I felt so held and supported and it was just what I needed.

- Meg

It’s probably bad form but I had to pause the recording of The Spiral Way Circle and send you a BIG THANK YOU for your energy. I felt so disconnected all week. You are really holding me right now and I felt compelled to express my gratitude. Gonna go back to the circle now. Thank you!!

Choose this option if you are traversing a time of change in your life right now and want an affordable, meaningful way to support yourself along the journey you’re on – and the idea of receiving that support among a community of likehearted others feels really good.

All prices are in CDN.

MOST months have 3 or 4 circles you can attend; there are no circles in August.  In the interest of ease, the TOTAL price of Chrysalis has been adjusted to reflect this rather than there being a different price every month or a refund for the month of August.

You can cancel your month-by-month auto-renewing membership at any time, but you cannot downgrade from a yearly membership to a month-by-month one, and no refunds will be given.  Please invest mindfully.

When you click on the payment button, you will be sent to a separate web page to complete your purchase.  Then you will receive an email containing the information you need to access Chrysalis.

Thank you for hosting another warm, supportive and empowering gathering. I completed the circle yesterday feeling like I knew so much more than when it began. You have a gift for creating the space that people need. I am very grateful to have crossed paths with you.

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending one of Jessie’s women’s circles. Without them I know I’d be like that Where’s Waldo Guy and we all know he’s always lost”

More About Me

I am a coach and doula with over fifteen years of experience supporting women through rites of passage and other radical life transformations.

It is my privilege to hold space and guide process for women in Chrysalis in honour of the way that I have been supported by powerful communities of women myself.  I believe that being in circle is a powerful way for women to remember themselves, and to remember they’re not alone.

Questions you may have about Chrysalis…

What does my membership include?

Your monthly payment includes access to every Chrysalis gathering that happens that month.  That means you’ll get to participate in 3 (and some months 4) 90-minute circles for the price of a yoga class and a post-yoga latte.

Can I come and go as I want? Is it easy to cancel my membership?

Yes, totally.  I’ve structured the payment plan in a way that makes this super easy for you:  you can join for only one month, for a monthly auto-renewing membership, or for a full year membership.  Though you can cancel a monthly auto-renewing membership anytime, there are no refunds or downgrades for the yearly membership, so please invest mindfully.  Joining or cancelling is a totally simple process – just navigate to your profile settings in Chrysalis and unsubscribe.

What if I can't make it to one of the live gatherings?

Don’t worry – all of the circles except for the Community Circles will be recorded and posted in the group the next day.  You can participate in any way that works for you and your life.

Do I have to attend all the gatherings?

Nope, not at all.  You can choose to participate in as many or as few of the sessions as you like, depending on what interests you and what capacity you have for participation in any given week or month.

This isn't a Facebook group is it?

No way.  Chrysalis is hosted on Mighty Networks, a woman-led, community-oriented space that just. feels. right. If you’ve not yet joined a Mighty Network, it works a lot like Facebook and even has a mobile app, but without all the ads and meme rabbitholes to get lost in.

Is this a social networking group?

Chrysalis is an experiential, human-connection-centred space and the primary means of engagement is in the mostly-weekly gatherings.  This is not another social media network that you need to scroll through or “keep up with” in any way.  I will not be monitoring the group’s feed on a regular basis or providing prompts, questions or other forms of engagement in this way.

I have another question…

Just email me at jessie(at)jessieharrold(dot)com! I would be happy to answer your questions.
